Finally there is a term to describe this phenomenon. I think Preston had a man crush on me. I liked the idea of someone having a man crush on me, but I didn't necessarily share the same enthusiastic feelings for him that he had for me. This would be considered a one sided bromance. I can safely say that Kaiya's current boyfriend does not have a man crush on me. We clearly do not have a bromance in our future.
